Aarhus University is a young and modern university located in the heart of Aarhus which is the second largest city in Denmark. The university has grown to become a leading public research university and the education system in Denmark is one of the best ranked in the world. Aarhus university is an international university with students from all over the world representing over 120 nationalities. The university offers study programmes within art and culture, health sciences, natural sciences, technical science and business.
Aarhus is a city with a lot of history and several of the buildings are from the 12th century. In the city center you will find the famous Old Town museum. This museum will take you on a journey back in time and you get to experience how it was to live in Denmark decades ago. This is just one of many attractions you will find in the city. If you want to go on a café, shopping or just enjoy a walk in the parks after school, you will have a lot of opportunities.
As a student in this city you won’t be alone because Aarhus is ranked as Denmark's number one student city and has many events for students. This can make it easier to get to know your fellow students and be social. The city has everything you need within a small area, so it is easy to get around with both bus and train or with a bicycle.
