About the study place

Marnix Academie is centrally located in the Dutch city of Utrecht. This is a university that trains students to become primary school teachers. Although this is a small university, they are big as a teacher training institution in the Netherlands. The school is concerned with educating tomorrow's teachers who will never stop inspiring their students.

Utrecht is a student city that is easy to navigate in and it takes about 30 minutes by train to the capital Amsterdam. The city has a long history and is one of the oldest medieval cities in the Netherlands. This is an exciting city that offers shopping, cinemas, theaters and music venues. There are lots of cozy canals in the city where you will see many boats and canoes. You should definitely visit the Dom district where there are several great shops and buildings. There are also many hiking areas and beautiful parks where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the bustling city life.

Marnix Academie is a university that care for each student and give them support and guidance. They value the contact between the lecturers and students, and make sure that their students reach their goals and gain a competence, that are sought after in the working life.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
