About the study place

Saxion Hogeschool has roots dating back to 1875 and is one of the largest higher education institutions in the Netherlands. The university has students from all over the world and has three campuses in the eastern part of the Netherlands. They offer many different study programmes and have a good overview on their website. 

Enschede is a great city located near the German border. The Dutch city is known for sports and museums and is an active city. Here you can cycle, walk or hop on a bus and visit the Volkspark which is one of the oldest parks in the Netherlands. In this town, there is always something to do and if you like to be in activity, you can go to the Rutbeek Park activity park, the Go planet Park entertainment park or the Rondje Enschede cycle route. Football is an important and popular sport in this town and the city has its own football stadium. If you choose to study in Enschede, you should visit the famous Rijksmuseum Twenthe and the Oude Markt marketplace. This is just a few things this great city has to offer.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution. 

 

Semester division

You can exchange to this institution during the 5th semester. The semester lasts from August to December.
