About the study place
HZ University of Applied Sciences is located in the southwestern part of the Netherlands, in the city of Vlissingen and is a small university with a personal approach. Since 2011, HZ university has been one of the best multidisciplinary Dutch university of applied science and they have a number of study programs in the fields of business and management, tourism, media and ICT, engineering, chemistry and science, logistics and water and land.
Vlissingen is a large and friendly student town with a good atmosphere. Here you can cycle everywhere, and you will discover beautiful beaches, one of the longest promenades in the Netherlands and countless cozy cafes. The town has a beautiful coastline where you can cycle and enjoy the sunset. Vlissingen has a unique location that makes it possible to visit other European places in a few hours. In addition, there is a direct train to the capital Amsterdam, and it will take about three hours. The city has a beautiful city center, and you will find everything you need here. This city is easy to fall in love with.
The university focuses on practice-based education and they offer its students individual coaching. In this way, students have the opportunity to explore their career opportunities and reach their goals.
