About the study place

Vilniaus Dailes Akademija is a university with four campuses in the cities of Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda and Telšiai. The school offers education in the fields of art, design, architecture and art theory and history and is a completely unique institution for higher education. The academy runs its own museum, several galleries and exhibition areas. Here, students get the opportunity during their studies to work with creative work and artistic research.

Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania and known for its rich history and picturesque old town. The town has become very popular in recent years with its dynamic art, cultural events, and fantastic food. The city is both inspiring, beautiful, and modern and filled with walking areas, squares, and parks. Take a relaxing walk around the Neris River, visit the Old Town or the Botanical Gardens in Kairėnai. Experience Vilnius from the air in a hot air balloon, sail down the river in Viking ships or rent a canoe for a day. There is a lot to do here all year around and you can just hop on the public transport and discover hidden gems in beautiful Vilnius.

Vilniaus Dailes Akademija has a history dating back to 1793 and is today a recognized university both nationally and internationally. Every day they create the future of art, design and architecture in Lithuania and educates creative students.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
