About the study place

Universidad de Granada is a university with a long and exciting history, and it has roots dating back to 1349. The university was recently ranked as one of the world's leading universities and it offers a variety of educational programs. Students from all over the world come here to study everything from social work to law and art. The opportunities are many at this great university.

The university is located in the city of Granada, in the south of Spain and the city is one of the country's largest student cities. About 1/3 of the population are students or working at the university, and the university is distributed in five different places in the city. Granada offers a large selection of festivals throughout the year such as jazz, theater, dance, and music, just to name a few. The town is only 35km away from the 3482 masl. mountain Mulhacén, which is well suited for rock climbing, mountain hiking, skiing, and snowboarding. If you miss the coast and the ocean while studying in Granada, the coast is only a short drive away. If you are interested in culture, architecture, and mountain sports, then Granada is a wonderful place to study.

The university is engaged in research and innovation and is a recognized university known for its good quality in education, teaching and research.

In order to have 30 ECTS credits approved at OsloMet after the exchange, you must take 30 ECTS credits at this institution.
