Birmingham City University is a university based in the centre of the city of Birmingham, England. The university has three main campuses that serves four faculties that offers a wide range of courses in art and design, IT, engineering, healthcare, education, English, the preforming arts, social sciences and technology.  

Birmingham is the second largest city in the UK with over a million inhabitants. This is a city for students, with five universities in total. The city is located in the West Midlands-region in the middle of England. Birmingham saw an exponential growth during the industrial revolution and was a center for science, technology and economic development. These innovations helped lay the foundations for the modern industrial society. Today Birmingham has become a center for art and culture. Here you will find, among other things, a vibrant nightlife, festivals, award-winning restaurants, museums and art galleries.
