About the study place
Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen is a university college in the German state of Hesse. The school has campuses in three different locations: Giessen, Friedberg and Wetzlar. The school offers over 79 different degree programmes within engineering, science, technology, management and economics.
Hesse is located in west-central Germany, with Frankfurt as the largest urban area. All three THM locations are accessible from Frankfurt by train. Friedberg and Wetzlar are both smaller towns surrounded by history, and its origins can be traced back to the Holy Roman Empire. Giessen is the city with about 90,000 inhabitants, of which almost half are students. This is a lively student city, full of charm and is known for beautiful green spaces and unique museums. The city also offers many opportunities for shopping and culinary options for food lovers.
