Fachhochschule Kufstein Tirol is a university of applied sciences based in the town of Kufstein, Austria. The school offers several bachelor's and master's programmes in real estate and facility management, business, management, marketing, sports, culture and event management.
Kufstein is a small town with around 20,000 inhabitants located in the west of the country, close to the German border in the state of Tyrol. The town is about an hour's drive northeast of the state capital Innsbruck, which is also accessible by train. The state of Tyrol is located in the Alps and is known for its ski resorts, historical sights and folk traditions. Kufstein is best known for its medieval fortress, which offers a strikingly beautiful view of the Lower Inn Valley and the Alps and is accessible by cable car. In Kufstein's old town you will find picturesque streets, such as the famous Römerhofgasse, surrounded by traditional Tyrolean houses.
